The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce has a longstanding working relationship with the team at Concho Valley Workforce Solutions. CV Workforce is the one-stop shop for employers seeking to pair qualified candidates with open manufacturing, fabrication and energy services positions.
INDUSTRY MEETINGS
Manufacturing, fabrication and energy company owners, operations managers and leadership meet regularly at the Chamber of Commerce to discuss issues within the community that effect growth sustainability of their industries. Local or regional industry partners, such as county, city and education leaders are often invited to present at these meetings to discuss solutions. As needed, educators and special speakers will be invited to discuss issues with the SARMA members.
LOCAL ADVOCACY
The Chamber of Commerce staff serves its SARMA members by working with local government agencies on issues that affect local businesses, such as road infrastructure, street maintenance, zoning, tax increment reinvestment zone, development review committee (DRC), and permitting and planning.

The SARMA project brings together regional manufacturers, fabricators and energy companies to discuss ways they can collaborate and work together.
EDUCATION & WORKFORCE TRAINING
The Chamber of Commerce, along with our economic development partners have developed a symbiotic relationship with Howard College, the West Texas Training Center, Angelo State University Department of Engineering and the San Angelo Independent School District to encourage the development of students for careers in fabrication, manufacturing and the energy sector.
